Choosing to Love 2026: A Community of Practice with Tara Brach

When we bring RAIN to the inner storms, what remains is heartspace—a vast tenderness that holds all life.

Tara Brach -

In shadowed times, we remember the light together.

These are turbulent times—marked by cruelty, division, and profound delusion. Many of us feel overwhelmed, afraid, and disconnected—from our own hearts, from each other, and from the living world.

In the face of such widespread suffering, it’s natural to feel helpless and wonder, “What can I possibly do?”

Yet even now, a refuge of presence and love lives within us. This innate capacity not only carries us through—but empowers us to be a force of healing and compassion in the world.

An Invitation to Lean In...

Choosing to Love: A Community of Practice is a yearlong journey with Tara Brach to nurture inner refuge, deepen spiritual presence, and engage the world with wise, loving action.

Together, in a vibrant and supportive community, we’ll explore how mindfulness and compassion—especially through the practice of RAIN—can become steady companions. You’ll be guided in processing difficult emotions, cultivating inner resilience, and responding to life with clarity, equanimity, and courageous love.

How the Program Works:

Transforming Emotional Suffering with RAIN

What You’ll Explore and Develop:

  • Inner Resilience & Freedom - Learn to pause and meet your experience with mindful awareness. By applying RAIN to moments of fear, stress, and reactivity, you’ll transform self-judgment into compassion and discover the stillness at the center of the storm.

  • Authentic Connection & Belonging - Experience deep community through shared practice. RAIN Partner groups and dialogues help you bring mindfulness into relationships, nurture empathy, and rediscover your connection with all beings.

  • Compassionate Action in a Troubled World - Explore what it means to live as a bodhisattva in today’s unraveling world—not transcending suffering, but transforming it with love. This path empowers you to respond wisely and compassionately to both personal and collective pain.

The crises in this world come from forgetting our belonging.

Let’s help each other remember.
